Business Development Manager
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele and win new business.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through new client acquisition and developing strong relationships with clients.
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone with b2b business development experience or event and media sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research into new customer markets and needs
- Arrange meetings with prospect clients
- Promote the business offering in pitches to new clients
- Prepare proposals
- Keep records and present regularly on sales activity, pipeline and revenue generated
- Build long-term relationships with new clients
- Help develop staff into valuable salespeople
- Work closely with the experienced account management team to ensure successful campaign delivery for new clients
Requirements
- Work experience in business development or b2b sales role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in media and events is a bonus
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and negotiation skills

Salary
Competitive salary with high uncapped commission structure
Location
This will be a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the Hertfordshire office and 2 days remotely. Travel into London and around the UK may be required.
